By 1937 Elder Eldridge was officiating when ordinances were celebrated.  By then, the church had nominated two Elders, Mr. Edward MacDonald and Hubert Redding, a Clerk, Mrs. Thelma Kierstead, a  Treasurer, Mrs. Edna Myers, a Home Missionary Leader, Home Missionary Secretary, three Deacons, three Deaconesses, a Pianist, Dorcas Society Leader, Sabbath School Superintendent and an assistant, SS Secretary, assistant and a Home Department Secretary. 

During these years, the members began growing their building fund.  By October of 1951 $3,000.00 had been laid aside
